With the popularity of information applications and the development of various service innovation industries, the application of information technology needs to be combined with service innovation industries. The curriculum design of this program aims to equip students with the professional knowledge and skills required for information application service innovation, and the ability to solve various issues of service innovation arising from related industries, in order to cultivate professionals proficient in both information application and service innovation.
The Information Application Service Innovation Program of the department is the "Neurofeedback Technology Combined with Intelligent Technology Innovation R&D Project" - Ministry of Education's 2018-2021 University Industry Innovation R&D Project in the field of Cultural Creativity and Technology Innovation.
If the developmental maturity of children's attentional abilities cannot meet the learning needs of their actual age, it may lead to underperformance in learning. If concentration enhancement methods and techniques can be learned at an early age, and subtly integrated into daily habits to stimulate interest in active learning, it will be beneficial for future learning performance. The purpose of this project is to develop digital content and wearable devices focusing on content and product services through the innovative R&D of neurofeedback technology (NFT) combined with intelligent technologies (such as AI, AR/VR, big data, and wearable devices), including the development of concentration training systems, concentration training courses, and innovative product services with interactive experiences.
By linking and integrating the added-value applications of digital content industries in the fields of intelligent technology and cultural creativity, and through the strategic alliance partners and business operation models integrated by Shih Chien University, together with the abundant innovation R&D capabilities of all team members, innovative series of products and services will be co-developed, and derivative new start-up companies will be established. This project collaborates closely with industry and plans to establish 8 experimental bases across Taiwan, jointly promoting the cultivation of top-notch doctoral-level R&D talents, actively entering the international market, and committing to sustainable development. The main target markets focus on children, hyperactive children, and seniors, and will expand to the general public in the future. The expected outcomes are the actual enhancement of people's learning effectiveness and intelligence growth in concentration, improving the quality of the population, and international competitiveness.
